California's bee foraging landscape is unmatched — from Central Valley almond orchards and orange groves to coastal sage scrub and Sierra Nevada wildflowers. The California State Beekeepers Association's summer field day brings together commercial and hobbyist beekeepers for apiary visits, hands-on hive management workshops, varroa mite treatment demonstrations, and honey judging. Held in the heart of the Central Valley's almond country, this is a must-attend for any serious California beekeeper.
