The Iowa Honey Producers Association's summer field day hosted at a working apiary in the Iowa River corridor near Iowa City. Iowa's productive agricultural landscape yields outstanding sweet clover, red clover, Dutch clover, and alfalfa honeys, with basswood honey prized from the wooded river valleys. Features live colony inspections, honey extraction demonstration, competitive honey show, and tastings of Iowa's premium varietal honeys.
