The Missouri Ozarks Wildflower Honey & Artisan Market gathers beekeepers from the Ozark Plateau's rich hardwood forests, where bees forage on black locust, tallow tree, wild bergamot, and sumac to produce some of the Midwest's most distinctive honeys. Held at the historic Joplin Union Depot, the market features over 30 Missouri honey producers alongside artisan mead makers, beeswax crafters, and pollinator gardeners. The Missouri State Beekeepers Association hosts honey judging, queen rearing demonstrations, and beginner beekeeping workshops throughout the weekend.
