About this event

NDSU Extension Service presents a full-day beginning beekeeping workshop for producers interested in starting with honey bees on North Dakota's vast clover, sunflower, and canola landscape. The state is a top commercial honey producer, and this workshop covers the unique challenges and opportunities of Northern Plains beekeeping: extreme winters, large-scale pollination contracts, and producing North Dakota's renowned clover and sweet clover honeys. Participants receive NDSU's Beekeeping in North Dakota publication.
