The Oklahoma State Beekeepers Association hosts this summer honey market at Oklahoma City's Myriad Botanical Gardens, celebrating the state's remarkable floral diversity and the resulting varietal honeys. Oklahoma's central location in the Great Plains produces exceptional clover, wildflower, and native prairie honeys, while southeastern Oklahoma yields sought-after blackberry and tulip poplar varietals. The market features 25+ Oklahoma honey producers, live hive demonstrations in the glass-enclosed Crystal Bridge, a children's pollinator garden scavenger hunt, and honey-themed culinary demonstrations by OKC chefs. The Oklahoma Honey Queen and Princess will be on hand for Q&A and honey education throughout the weekend.
