Annual summer field day organized by the Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association at a working apiary in Lancaster County's Amish farm country. Participants observe active hives, see honey extraction, and learn about Pennsylvania's diverse honey forage including tulip poplar, black locust, basswood, and Dutch white clover. Lancaster County is one of Pennsylvania's top honey-producing regions. Light lunch included; family-friendly event with educational activities for children.
