A weekend open house at select Appalachian honey farms in the Greenbrier Valley and Allegheny Highlands, showcasing West Virginia's prized sourwood and tulip poplar honeys. Visitors tour active apiaries, participate in honey extraction, and taste varietals unique to the Appalachian region. The West Virginia Beekeepers Association coordinates the farm trail with maps, guided tasting sessions, and educational talks on Appalachian bee forage plants and sustainable mountain beekeeping.
