Kansas's beekeeping community gathers for a summer field day on the tallgrass prairie, the heartland of white clover and sweet clover honey production. Participants visit commercial and hobbyist apiaries across the Flint Hills, observe honey extraction operations, and learn about honey grading, moisture management, and marketing through the state's honey producers cooperative network.
