Big Island Bees makes this honey on Hawaii Island from the blossoms of the native ohia lehua tree, which grows only in Hawaii. The producer says the honey is certified organic and made without chemicals, artificial feeds, miticides, heat or filtration. It crystallizes into a smooth, white, spreadable honey with a delicate, distinct flavor, and the company recommends it for tea because it does not overwhelm the tea's taste. Its organic lehua honey won first place in the honey category at the 2021 Good Food Awards. It is sold as a 47 oz jar or a set of three 9 oz jars.
