Honey Bee Zen Fireweed Honey

Honey Bee Zen is a beekeeping farm in the Creston Valley of British Columbia, between the Purcell and Selkirk mountains. In mid-July it trucks hives high into those mountains, where fireweed covers ground cleared by fire or logging and is almost the only forage, so the producer calls the result virtually monofloral. It describes a very light, mild, buttery honey graded extra water white, and says it won first place in the Extra Water White class at the 2024 American Honey Show. The 250 g jar was in stock when checked; the 500 g and 1 kg jars were sold out.
