Dr Honey Virágméz (Hungarian Flower Honey)

Dr Honey, a Hungarian honey company founded in 2014 that works with Hungarian beekeeping families, sells this mixed flower honey (virágméz). The company says its honey comes only from Hungary, is not heat-treated or ultra-filtered, and is never blended with honey from other countries. Mixed flower honey is made only from flower nectar, but its makeup varies with the plants the bees visit, so it is usually dark and brownish and crystallizes at a medium pace. Dr Honey suggests it for sweetening cold and warm drinks and says it goes well with fresh cheeses, especially goat cheese. It comes in 300 g and 450 g jars.
