Engadiner Bienenhonig Honig Alpenblüten Engadin (Engadine Alpine Flower Honey)

Alpine flower honey from Engadiner Bienenhonig, the small apiary of Linard and Daniela Caviezel in Tschlin in the Engadine. Their colonies live among flower meadows that are all farmed organically. The beekeepers describe an intense, rounded, sweet taste from many mountain flowers and a clear, bright yellow color that turns an opaque sun-yellow as the honey crystallizes; it is thick, crystallizes slowly and evenly, and stays spreadable. The apiary has held the apisuisse gold quality seal of the Swiss beekeepers' association since August 2015. Sold in 250 g and 500 g jars.
