Meligyris Greek Mountain Honey, Wild Thyme

Meligyris is a beekeeping company in Arkalochori, near Heraklion on Crete, that sells its honeys through its own online shop; the German importer Kreta-Agora says the Meligyris apiary has existed since 1920. This Greek Mountain Honey is made from wild Cretan thyme, and the producer describes it as a strong honey with a golden color. It is offered in 120 g, 270 g, 450 g and 800 g glass jars, as well as a 500 g squeeze bottle and a 400 g tin; the 250 g tin was sold out when checked.
