Miel in France Organic Lavender Honey (Miel de Lavande BIO)

Organic lavender honey from beekeeper Jean-Luc Payan, collected at Reillanne in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and sold by the French online honey shop Miel in France. It is certified organic by Ecocert under EU rules, not USDA. The shop describes a golden honey, very fragrant, delicate and fruity, with a long finish. It whitens as it crystallizes, and the white marbling that can form on the jar is, the shop says, a sign the honey was not blended or heated before jarring. Sold in a 250 g jar.
